Sarah Carlson is a Kodály-certified music educator with a deep passion for fostering joyful music literacy in children. As the owner and instructor at Pro Amore Musicae Piano Studio, she offers private and group piano lessons, designed to inspire students of all ages through engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction.
Sarah began her musical journey at the age of ten and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music, from Colorado Christian University with emphases in education and piano.
Sarah is the elementary k-6 music teacher at Grand County Christian Academy in Tabernash Colorado, which includes directing their children’s choir and handbell ensemble.
Our Traditional Piano Lessons
At Pro Amore Musicae Piano Studio, Sarah fosters an environment where students can develop confidence, musical skill, and a lifelong love of music through meaningful performance experiences and a fun, inclusive learning atmosphere. We also focus on note reading, theory and technique.
Older Beginner Piano
.We start with level one for Piano Safari Series, and each lesson covers technique, reading, rote and improv. Lessons are 30 minutes. If the student is interested in learning a challenge piece, lessons are 45-minutes
Adult Beginner Piano
We use the Piano Safari Series, fake books and chord charts depending on the desires of the student. Lessons are 45-minutes.
